A plumber discovered a pinhole leak in an inaccessible crawlspace under a retail store. As it turned out, this pipe had been leaking for a long time and significant unseen damage had already been sustained.
We responded to the property the same day the leak was discovered. Given that it was a long-term problem, we suggested the business owner discuss the situation with his insurance adjuster before starting work. We began work the next day while closely coordinating with the adjuster. In the end, we had to demolish and remove a large portion of the flooring, dry the area out, and then complete reconstruction. The owner was quite satisfied with our work, especially the fact the we remained in constant contact with the insurance adjuster and agent.
